The delicate nature of working with volcanic Basalt fibres requires a human touch. To this day, no technology is available to streamline our creation process – and we wouldn’t want to use it even if there was!
This means that all our furniture is created in small batches, entirely by hand. As a result, we eliminate the need for carbon-pumping factories that produce low-quality furniture pieces at a rapid pace.
While this approach is slower, it allows us to work with a small, core team that understands our products from top to bottom. In addition, this ensures we have air-tight quality control that prevents our designs from unnecessarily making their way to landfills each year.
